What I have to do is keep from coming up with new variations.

I've already come up with.
- Catching the ball
- Waving at the neighbors
- This is a holdup
- The fish was this big

...and then there is the tight grip of the pew in front of you as you bow your head in quiet reflection.

You should try the Mustard Seed some Sunday. You could get alot of good ones there! Shakedust, I like the fish one!

Does mustard seed still have that lady with the finger cymbals?

I must confess that it was drawn on the back of a prayer card in the pew.

two praise-a-matic guesture that I was completely unprepared for ... and might be difficult for visitors are:

"Jericho March" - Does anyone stil do this ... and what's the goal, to have the sanctuary collapse and speed up the new buliding project?

"Take the hand of the person next to you" - I've gotten used to this as a way to close in prayer ... but I still cringe when I remember a 10+ minute hand-hold-sway-session while having to sing "we are one".

The jericho march - that's a classic.

I really loathe having to hold another persons hand.

But holding hands is so important. How else would we spread the cold and flu virii around the church quickly?

Without fail as soon as I start holding hands I have a sneeze, or a runny nose, or an itch, or something else come on that must be dealt with.

Forrest your dad has been in the past a big one on the hand hold. I always cringe too. That's just too intimate for us individualists. I always hated it when Dar was in the sound booth, and it was early service, so I'd be holding hands with one other guy or couple. Awkward! Now, I just have to kiss everyone at church, on both cheeks.

I wasn't that big on it, I think your transmeridian relocation of has marred your memory beyond repair:)

GW is right. I (from personal experience throughout the years) don't recall him being a "hand holder" supporter at church. Maybe you have him confused with someone else.

Forrest, where do you find the time to do all your blogging?
