They kept it a surprise. Vernal's sister gave birth yesterday to their first child and it was a girl.
We all went up to the hospital last night after work to visit her and the mother and father.
They named her Reese. She has a lot of dark hair.
The boys are excited about their new cousin.
It is nice that there will now be other little legs running around creating havoc on Vernal's side of the family. But Reese is a girl, so she'll probably be an angel.

We went and saw baby Witherspoon last night. She is absolutely beautiful and very tiny and so precious. Can't wait to watch her grow. Congratulations, Uncle Forrest!
