I Love Your Hair

Excuse me Miss I don’t mean to stare
But I really have to tell you that I love your hair
So you show up few minutes late
We don’t notice because your hair looks great
Yesterday different from today it shows
You really know how to accentuate your clothes

Excuse me Sir I don’t mean to dis’
But your hair is usually hit or miss
Showed up late someone said
“Did this joke just roll out of bed?”
It once looked good but has now lost its strut
Please call your stylist you need a fresh cut

What's the deal with 3 people's post titles today being "I love your hair." I guess Dust is a trend setter. yeah right. : )

If you just wrote that; then I am impressed. I am assuming that it is not song lyrics because you would have given credit where credit is due.

After seeing "T" use the same title, I thought that I should try it out too! I have often thought that it would be cool to take a subject or title and have everyone give their interpetation or creative writing on that title.

You all should try it: "I love your hair." Now what is your story?

Yes,I wrote that. I thought I'd give my shot a poetry since we have so many poets here.

For once words elude me.

It was inspired! I have to admit that I was in a sing song mode as I mowed! I came up with with a few, but I'll spare you!

She asks me why
I'm just a hairy guy
I'm hairy noon and night
Hair that's a fright
I'm hairy high and low
Don't ask me why
Don't know
It's not for lack of break
Like the Grateful Dead
Darling

Gimme head with hair
Long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming,
Streaming, flaxen, waxen

Give me down to there hair
Shoulder length or longer
Here baby, there mama
Everywhere daddy daddy

Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it
Long as God can grow it
My hair
